================================================ Subject: Re: creed From: "Lee Reed" To: Date: Tue 25 Jun 2002 01:24:06 -0400 ================================================ hi nancy, i'm assuming you meant this to go to the list as well...i like weathered, don't get me wrong...it DID take a little getting used to though...while i first heard of creed with "higher", the first cd i got was MOP...and that will forever be my absolute favorite...however, as much as i've come to like weathered, i have to say that i expected more...they promised us it would be "harder" and (what was the other adjective they used?) and i felt that they did not live up to that promise...of course, throwing an album together in the short time that they did, i guess i shouldn't have expected so much more...and as far as the strength of the bass, if you listen to MOP and then to weathered, you WILL notice the difference...each instrument has its own unique identity in the songs, and i still feel that the lack of a strong bass on weathered contributed to my initial disappointment in the album...thanks for sharing your opinion...
