================================================ Subject: Re: My Creed Tickets Bought From: "Creed Grl" To: Date: Mon 24 Jun 2002 21:00:38 -0500 ================================================ Here is my story. I am now living in Florida. (And of course it could be next year before they come here), so my brother and sister-in-law and I are going to drive to Nashville to see them (and visit family). Tickets went on sale at 11:00 (my time) last Saturday. It's an outdoor place, but I was on the button at 15 till. hehe At 11:00 sharp, they went on sale. Busy, refresh, busy, refresh, ect... and on and on. Finally at 11:04 I got thru. Lawn seats!! LAWN SEATS!!! There is no way it almost sold out in 4 mins!! I was pretty pissed. So my question is the same........presale tickets? Who is getting all the tickets before they are 'on sale'?? I have seen Creed 9 times in the last 4 or 5 years. I have driven lots of miles to see them (including Woodstock) and yes, it was well worth it everytime. I have bought every t-shirt, hat and keychain. I even joined the 'Fan Club' years ago. But....I don't know anyone...I have never been backstage. I am at the mercy of Ticketmaster everytime I buy tickets. And that sucks. I took off from work (passing up overtime) so I could be home when they went on sale. And I got lawn seats. Thanks for letting me get this off my chest. I complain to people at work and they just don't understand. I love Creed. And I don't blame them at all for the unfairness of it. I am a huge fan, and have been since 1997 when I heard My Own Prison for the first time. I will contine to buy the cd's, t-shirts and posters. And of course the concert tickets. But sometimes it just seems so unfair. You wait and wait for them to go onsale....then you get lawn seats. >From: Creed - 7M3 - Live >Reply-To: Creed - 7M3 - Live >To: CREED-DISCUSS@WINDUPLIST.COM >Subject: Re: My Creed Tickets Bought >Date: Sat, 8 Jun 2002 23:56:36 -0400 > >I didn't get my tickets for the 7/19 (Friday) show out here yet.
