Someone wrote and said that the way, I guess, you said it was wrong. "Your body is a temple of God and you should not contaminate it." That sounds about right. But, when God put us on this earth he gave us Free Agency. So if you have a tattoo it's not a sin, that's just how you chose to decorate your temple. I have a tattoo also and I know that I'll have it for the rest of my life and I'm willing to live with that. If I'm judged for it in the hereafter then I'm willing to live with the consequences.
I feel that a tattoo is an expression of one's self. There are worse things that you can do to your body besides tattooing. Been there, done that, learned my lesson.
