================================================ Subject: Creed's Influence From: "Kristian Rees-Bains" To: Date: Wed 5 Jun 2002 14:50:35 EDT ================================================ I never knew that Creed went as far as Asia, they must have skipped Europe Kristian I'm not from the UK but I don't agree with you that Creed's influence outside of the USA is "pretty not half". They're more than three-quarters here in Asia where MS reached number two on the Asia Hit List and in Malaysia where I'm from, they are already so well-known that pirated T-shirts are selling like hot cakes in our night markets. Of course, caps and Ts of those soggie cookies (aka Limp Bizkit) sell better than Creed but local wannabe rock bands include either MS or Higher in their repertoire. So yes, definitely their influence outside of the US is growing. Maybe not in the UK because you already have a lot of innovative and good rock bands but here in Asia where the average Lee, Ahmad and Muthusamy want to be with the in-crowd rock 'n roll wise, they look to the West.
