THE HOPE



While I think everything is going right,
Something is holding me too tight,
My soul is trying to find,
The ways, to free my mind.

At times I try to look around,
But I’m too afraid to turn around,
‘Cause it reflects all those deeds,
I did, to fulfill my needs.

Walking through the desert of my life,
I feel the thirst for Your word.
Truth is what I’m trying to seek,
‘Cause I can’t be so humble and meek

Although I can’t find all that I want,
There’s something in my soul that still pushes me
No matter whatever happens to me,
It’s the hope in the One who died for us
And in the One who has risen to save us.
