I am the same as you My parents spilt two years ago ( IM 13). You are right if it wasn't for Creed I may have done some really bad stuff. They helped me get through that stuff because Scott Stapp has a similar life to mine. So it almost helped guide me to learn that other people have gone through the same stuff as I am. Creed did inspire me to write songs and I now have 12 of them written! I can realate to what Scott sings. Since he writes from his heart I know that there is someone exactly like me out there. I also have a few of the same problems as Scott.Like the temper and the reasoning. Ihave learned to write from my heart and im getting guitar lessons.

Some advice for writting from your heart: say your haveing a bad day write down what you feel like!

Well, what can I say? Creed changed my life. My parents split when I was 11
and if it wasn't for Creed I believe that I would be far off the rails at
present day. I took up guitar because of the inspiration Mark gave to me.

Me and a mate (also playes guitar) are putting a band together. Out goal is
to write music from the heart, music that heals the soal like Creed does.
But it is hard. How do they do it? I have heard hunreds of other metal bands
out there, and sure some of them are great bands (eg. Metallica, Deep
Purple, Led Zeplin, Megadeath etc. etc.) but none of them have the feeling
that Creed has in their music.

So I guess my question is how the hell do they do what no band has done
before (add true feeling and soul to their music)?
