I guess I'll define my limitations. .. I like most of the rock music called "Classic Rock" (AC/DC, Montrose, Led Zeppelin, Alice Cooper, etc) For the newer bands, I like silverchair, Bush, Alice in Chains, Creed, Seven Mary Three, Live, Staind, Cold and recently got into a band called Flaw. > well, how i got into CREED? - I went to the CD shop I first got into Creed with hearing My Own Prison, on the radio, back in 1997. I heard the song on the radio, then I listened to the DJ, to find out who the artist was. At first, the DJ mentioned Green Day. So i bought nimrod, by mistake. I soon traded in the album. But later heard another DJ mention the artist as Creed. Fortunately,we were just pulled into a department store that sold CDs. We went to the music department and my wife found the CD first. We bought the MOP album and it remained in the player for over a years time. When I got the album home, I noticed a web address, on the CD cover. I went to the web link and checked out their website. After that, I signed up for the mailing list and also participated in the early bulletin board. Creed was the first band that I checked out on the Internet. So I still enjoy reading their mailing list. > just good. I liked them a lot and Weathered was into > my system for 3 weeks......without a pause. I only played the Weathered album for a short time. I still haven't played the CD much. But for Human Clay, I think it intrigued me for about 6 months. Hopefully, with the new Creed fans, joining the list. I'll be able to get some insight, into the inspiration that others find in the Weathered CD. I also enjoy the Internet and also enjoy working with computers. My favorite system is Linux (for home). But I do a lot of things with the Microsoft environment. (work related) - Currently, I'm testing out XP. I converted my databases over to 2000, (50 percent failure rate, related to VB script errors, but I found other means to fix the errors). So all the databases are converted, successfully. A program that I talked about before didn't work. It performed like the attempt on win 2000. After testing out the TTY driver. I'll know if it is safe....Then the others will get XP on their machines. I enjoyed reading about you and how you became interested in Creed. Take Care, Jim -- When the going gets tough, the tough go grab a beer. To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
