================================================ Subject: One Last Breath: A Review From: "Joe Earles" To: Date: Thu 16 May 2002 18:52:24 -0400 ================================================ I can just see the storyboard for this one: Synopsis: Scott Stapp is having a really bad day. Wing-ed Scary Stapp Guy has shed his CGI motif, but unfortunately that also included his wings. Setting: A geologically unstable mountain. That drumming isn't helping the situation, Flip. Stop, please... PLEASE... too late! The ground is crumbling, but only beneath Stapp's feet. Message: only Scott Stapp has any real issues (hence the signature Brooding Messiah poses). Okay so now he's falling....and falling... ...still falling and notably calm for someone about to hit the ground at maximum velocity. He sings as if nothing is wrong.......falling... SMASH! Now we get to meet the minor characters: Pensive George Carlin Guy, Sullen Clown Cher Chick, Wanda the White Witch and Heidi the Higher Chick who just wandered onto the set. Someone is bleeding into a chalice and I can only assume it's Stapp. He's had a nasty fall. Wind blows, the sky turns black, the apocalypse occurs with the same intensity as Y2K, Mark bangs his head and grits his teeth and Flip plays his drums looking like he hasn't a clue how he even got there in the first place. The song ends, fade to black. The end. Definitely better than Bullets but it made just as much sense.
