He may have felt perfectly fine at the time, but with back problems
symptoms could show hours or even days afterword. Better to send him to
the hospital early than risk major complications later for not doing so.
He's also said that he was dazed and confused and even trembling at the
time so I don't believe he was completely ok. In other words, yes it could
be a very big deal when concerning someone's health.

I agree with you! If Scott felt fine, they
shouldn't have rushed him to the hospital! Why do people make such a big deal
about it?
