Creed spokesman Steve Karas said no makeup dates have been scheduled, but he expects the Orlando-based band will resume touring this summer. > > "We don't want people to believe that this is a situation where Scott will not recover," Karas said. > > He refused to give many details about Stapp's accident near Orlando. He said another vehicle hit Stapp's car, and the lead singer's body absorbed a 60 mph impact. > > "The band doesn't believe in sensationalism, so we'll stick to the facts," Karas said, refusing to discuss Stapp's injuries. "It's a privacy concern." > > Both the Orlando Police Department and the Orange County Sheriff's Office did not immediately return calls seeking comment Monday.
