Jim,  you also have to account for the fact that when we 1st joined the list, CREED was not as known as they are now. We had a nice size handful of posters. Now we are getting ALL kinds of ppl joining, and the list is 3x what it used to be.

Henry,

I am surprised that the list still reflects the hostility that it seems
not to be able to relinquish. I put the initial reason for chasing off
someone that signed up for the list, after they were off the list for a
short period. The person was an active poster during the list's
philosophical phase. When he returned and asked for opinions on Texas
and if it is still independent, because of treaties, wars and failure to
sign documents and things. He was called a member of the KKK. He is
completely athiestic in view and doesn't seem to have any racial
tendacies.... Anyway, the incident repelled him from the list.
Later on, there was a debate about Microsoft operating systems spurred
by my hearing that Microsoft was planning on stopping the support for
Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT4 and Windows ME. Also that Microsoft
XP was going to be a subscription OS. Where you paid a monthly fee for
the system. It was a long and bloody debate time. And a debate that
completely alienated me from Microsoft products.
After that, there was still the lingering taste for blood on the list.
The list was never really a list dedicated to discussions about Creed.
There was always a lot of "coffee talk" and some insightful debates,
without the killer attitudes. .... Anyway, I believe that some cannot
see fit to just speak in a more social tone of discussion. I hope that
it can soften a lot with the tone.

I dont  think it's such a "hateful" environment, I believe a lot of the tension comes from the fact that "Creed Fans" come here asking questions that us oldposters are tired of answering.
About your comments about Creed's type of music and not expecting such a

I dont think it's
hateful environment. I can understand your viewpoint. I really do not
enjoy being bitter toward others either.
Regarding your attraction to Creed's music. I hope that you can share
with the list, your personal feelings and inspirations, with Creed's
producted music.

Welcome to the list,

Jim
