For me...it was a toss up
between Creed-My Sacrifice,
Linkin Park-In
The End, Puddle Of Mudd-Blurry and
The Calling
Wherever You Will Go. I love all of these
songs for the lyrics,
music and the sound of their voices.
But in the end (no pun
intended) I chose Creed. It just
gets to me when he sings
the words:
"We've seen our share of
ups and downs
Oh how quickly life can turn around in an
instant"
and:
"When you are with me
I'm free...I'm
careless...I believe"
I can relate to that and
it means something to me. In
MY opinion it is not a
"weak" song.
Although I do agree
with the
1/3 complete comment.
It is an odd time to
vote for
song of the year. I would
prefer to wait until
all of
the great songs of 2002 are on
the air and have
had a
chance.
