Ugh, you know, after a while, reading things like this gets to be almost funny.  Think about this, would you try to use freedom of speech to defend your painting Graffiti on the front of somebody's house?  No, because it's that person's house, they don't have to have your "free speech" on it.  Same thing applies to things like chatrooms, bulletin boards, and yes, even mail lists.  Unless it's YOUR mailing list, you have no LEGAL basis for complaint just because the owners don't want your flames expressed on their list.

That having been said, I DO feel that the uneven moderation Windup has been enforcing is a crock of shit and should be ended.  Really doesn't put forth a good image for Creed, ya know.

Subject: 1st amendment violated

This list is so unconstitutional, I got my first amendment violated. The first amendment states Freedom of Speech, Press, and so on.  If it says Freedom of Speech, please tell me Mister Moderator why did you violated my first amendment?  If your going to violated my first amendment for me you better will do it for everybody because that is unconstitutional.  Where's the equality on this list?? Why is there favoritism Mister Moderator guy or who ever it is?  It also says Freedom of Press.  This is a list where your allowed to write e-mails and express your opinions on different discussions. I have felt violated and I am sure others have felt the same way because you have not lets us send e-mails to the list.  I especially have noticed know there are less e-mails coming from the Fab 4 as Michele likes to it call.  I personally like to read their e-mails and I think that it's wrong to not let their e-mails come through just because a some people on this list don't like them.  But you let Michele's mail come even though it has a ton of flaming it and other nonsense.  I think violating the first amendment is wrong, stupid, and is very unconstitutional.

Thank you,
Kathryn
