If they can't all be of the same mindset in as much as the band, and their music is concerned, then bringing him back just to please the fans, I feel, could tear them all apart. While it's great, I'm sure, to have fans, I can't help but think that this band got together to begin with, out of more personal needs for the individuals who formed it...(to make music, express themselves emotionally & artistically)... than "just" to please millions of people. When they wrote the words and music that was later made into their 1st albumn, they didn't yet have all those fans, so what was the motivation? I don't think these guys would have quit writing or making music if they had not yet became so famous. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems that those individuals who have talents/gifts.. such as what these guys do, can't suppress them....they gotta come out. It is their gifts, and they must manifest them. The fact the band has become so popular is a plus...one I'm sure they are thankful for....and while I and many others feel that they do more than just make great music, but that they spread a message of shared emotions (maybe more) to many who may have otherwise, felt alone, should they really be governed by a petition, signed by some of the fan's? I think it is up to the hearts, minds, and spirits of the band members to make that decision, and their fans need to trust them to make the best decision for the band as a whole. Only then will they be of the right frame of mind to continue to give to the fans what they need to give from their hearts, and what is wanted and many times needed, to be received by so many. What "Creed" creates will be, with, or without the biggest numbers of fans possible. Their legacy is, in part, their music, not the number of CD's they sell or concerts sold out. How many great artists in the past, died before they ever had one fan?
