they CAN and they probably DID sell all of the available tickets in a very short amount of time.  There are a zillion variables for why you didn't get the tickets you wanted.  And with enough money and ingenuity, you can get any seat in that place you want, btw.   Ticketassrapers has a great explanation on their site about why tickets sell out so fast and why good seats don't ever seem to be available.   http://www.ticketmaster.com/h/faq.html?pagefrom=hm_sn_aA#ticket%20availability

thanks Chastity.  I too was on-line as well as on the phone trying any way that I could to get these tickets.  With out a doubt there is no way that they could have sold all those tickets within 10-15 minutes.  I was amazed and heartbroken.  Now my dear husband is saying that maybe we will have to travel to another town just to see them and that is if we can get decent seats at a decent price as well.  I will take any seats that I can get as long as I get to actually see the band..... not just hear them.  I have been trying to see them for a while and it is hard to get ahold of their tickets.  I hope that my poor husband can figure something out .....
