================================================ Subject: Creed in general... From: "Sandy Carter" To: Date: Thu 28 Mar 2002 20:24:43 -0600 ================================================ With talent as low as his he should've stayed with, who? Virgos or somethin...i dunno neway u won't be hearing much of him from me. Dave, I'm sorry, but I'm not witth you here....I happen to like Brett a lot, I think he brings a lot of energy to Creed. Scott prowls around, stalking the stage intensely, Mark makes these great grimaces and Scott P. has his game face on. Brett when we saw him (3rd show on current tour in Houston, TX) looked for all the world like he was having a lot of fun, and was really feeding off the crowd. He was singing along, jumping around and I could tell he was really enjoying himself. The only complaint I might have about Brett is his choice of headwear. Could be to cover the lack of hair, I don't know. I wish he'd just lose the hat. But you have to realize, Brett is the only bassist I have seen perform live (twice) with Creed. If you saw them during this tour, you would know he plays either lead or rhythm guitar with his band Virgos (which I fully intend to get), and plays bass for Creed. If you will read the interview from Guitar One, Mark made it sound like they wanted Brett, but he wasn't available because he was involved in recording with his own band. I am in real awe that Mark played bass on Weathered. No matter who tours with them, it's still a great live experience. Can't wait to see them again in May, and any other time they come within driving distance of me. Money well spent, in my opinion.
