================================================ Subject: Creed in general... From: "Dave Wylie" To: Date: Thu 28 Mar 2002 18:26:24 +1100 ================================================ > Thanks Sandy, no I haven't read that interview b4...It helps to get an insight on what it's really like internally. Jim, Weathered has overtaken as my favorite album (unknown reason, lol), probobly 'cause the songs are so much easier to relate to than their first 2 albums. I find my listening through the entire album, over and over, and still not a trace of boredom. Creed's music is so full of energy and passion that even my 'hip-hop' mates are alternating between their music & Creed. That's pretty much why I started listening 2 them. It's comforting 2 see the broader catch on. As i've never commented on (singer) Scott's position, he clearly is the man making them. Lyrics as deep as his can often be mistaken for poetry, which, if I were Scott, should take great pride in them as, personally, I believe they're better than Eddie Vedder's. His voice is his only weakness...Don't get me wrong, he's phenomenal in the studio, but he does have to exercise his voice a lot more than he does. I know that sounds way-off (as he is a singer), but after growing up with a fantastic singer you know you can never have enough practise. (My brother never made it lol). Neway enough of the live stuff. Lately i've been really into One Last Breath & Weathered, & yeah certainly, as u said, the song Weathered is the chain that linked the 3 albums. One last thing about Brett, i'm sick of talking about him. With talent as low as his he should've stayed with, who? Virgos or somethin...i dunno neway u won't be hearing much of him from me. ************************************************************************ * Tracking #: 722C625A0263FC42A5688B156AA1AE1DED25EF74 * ************************************************************************ To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
