Fan feedback is great, even if you don't know what your talking about. The way I see it, it gives the band opportunities. Us fans have very different opinions on Creed, whether it's our favorite songs or whateva, and i think that it's these opinions that not even a professional critic could do such a thing. The idea of a discussion somewhat excites me as it can incorporate infinite things into one subject. Maybe everyone (including Creed) can learn something from this list. To weathered, the basslines I felt were predictable, yet solid and tight like their previous albums. What I was impressed about the amount of key changes in the album. To me Creed used to mean simple, yet effective (very effective). Kinda reminds me of Jason from Metallica (I know they ain't 2gether nemore...), he and Brian created uplifting riffs, yet solid behind the lead guitar. Let's face it, bass will never prioritise over lead, it is too complex for it to be shut out. But i reckon Brian did do the best job he could. Weathered I think is outstanding musically, the scale changes too have a still and meaningful sound. But unlike their first 2, weathered really stretches their musical boundaries. No bull, one of me fav's is lullaby. It's not the song, just that there are endless possibilities with that riff. So what's your favorite song? I have 2, Torn & Beautiful (they didn't play either grrr). Torn was the first song I heard from Creed, and it hooked me. Ode would have to follow in third, but they're all good. :P ************************************************************************ * Tracking #: E93B72D9F9A7A24CB784AFD382A68FB2FD88B431 * ************************************************************************ To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
