I LOVE the music of Godsmack...but sometimes I like the lyrics and sometimes I don't. I don't particularly care for some of what Layne Staley stands for, but I sure dig Chains...and to take it further, I think Scott Stapp needs to grow up, take some responsibility and get his voice back in shape. I personally don't want to dump $500.00 to see his voice crack after the third song. Bottom Line: You take what's good for YOU and leave the rest. Kind of like a smorgasboard. But leave a little for me will you?? I am hungry too!!! ;-) NP - Somewhere, Soundgarden -> -----Original Message----- -> From: Creed Discussion List [mailto:CREED-DISCUSS@WINDUPLIST.COM]On -> Behalf Of Kristin -> Sent: Friday, March 22, 2002 5:41 PM -> To: CREED-DISCUSS@WINDUPLIST.COM -> Subject: Re: What other bands do you enjoy - Brian from Omaha -> -> -> Nora, -> -> I'm not a Satanist, OR Wiccan.. but I just felt the need to -> point out again -> (as I pointed out a couple years ago to someone else on this -> list regarding -> the very same thing).. Sully of Godsmack is not a Satanist, but he IS -> Wiccan. A person must be working -> through the paradigm of a Holy Bible in order to believe in -> Satan. He is not -> a part of Native American religions, Shinto, Buddhism, Animism or (of -> course) Wicca. -> Q: -> Isn't the pentagram (the five-pointed star enclosed in a circle) -> a symbol of -> the Devil? -> A: -> The pentagram in its correct state (one point up, standing on -> two points) -> represents the perfected human. The upside-down pentagram means the -> opposite. In Wicca, the five points represent our basic beliefs. -> Q: -> What are your five Basic Beliefs? Are they like the Ten Commandments? -> A: -> Sort of, except we only have one "commandment," the Wiccan Rede. It -> states, "If it harm none, do what you will." The other four -> beliefs in our -> religion are: (2) The Law of Attraction, (3) Harmony and -> Serenity, (4) Power -> through Knowledge, and (5) Progressive Reincarnation. -> And finally, if any of you disagree with what I've written here, please -> don't visit the site.. it's that simple..
