I went to the Sydney concert (Friday night) with a 23 year old neighbour and I was a bit apprehensive (not having gone to a concert as such for some years) thinking that I would probably be the oldest person there and was pleasantly surprised - I felt quite young and the old rockin' feel came straight back into me. My husband bought the ticket for me as an early (very early) birthday present as he knew that I missed seeing live bands and was (for the first time in many years) raving about a band rather than just saying that I enjoyed their music. They remind me of bands I listened to many years ago and yet nothing like them at all - I hope that makes sense. Also they are one of the only bands whose CDs you can buy and listen to the whole lot without having to skip tracks. I hope they come back soon - my only regret is that I quite like Incubus as well and when I saw that Creed and Incubus are playing in Auckland, NZ together I hassled my husband to buy me an early Xmas present and send me over there! Oh well, mortgage and car payments called a quick halt to that! Ha Ha! Anyway the performance was a blast and I can't wait until they tour again. I'm sorry that I missed most of the support band Crash Palace as they sounded pretty good and hopefully will come across them around the traps. I have quite a wide collection of music from THREE IRISH TENORS to BLACK SABBATH and, of course, Creed. I have them as my theme on the computer and their CDs are always in playing on the computer when I am on it - as it is now. Anyway enough ramblings. Thanks for the chance to babble.
