There are many views about keeping your views related to subjects, being personally insultive and the freedom of speech issue. Anyway, the same argumentative people will threaten people when they mail them personally. So what is to say that the vulgarities and such are rightful to send to 300 to 400 peoples mailboxes. I believe that the attempt to stifle direct response to a person and instead, respond to the whole list with a very narrow topic is not free speech. It is rather inflamed ranting to a whole crowd of listers. I assume that a lot of the listers that lurk are related to the music field. I'm sure they really aren't interested in what "Alfred" thinks of "Joline". So why bother the list with that sort of narrow topic. Also the listers that are interested in Creed are more likely to want to know about bands that are going to be performing at the shows with Creed. Maybe they are interested in what other bands that might satisfy their music needs. But it is very doubtful that the conversations would vary to these sort of topics. They have the right to express their views directly toward me. But it is rather silly to express their views to the whole list. It doen't matter if 400 people are capable of hitting the delete key or not. The argument doesn't hold much substance. It is only an excuse to be abusive. Going on to the band 12 Stones. I checked out a few of their songs. They seem to be a band worth seeing from the songs that I have heard. The things most worth reading are precisely those that challenge our convictions.
