================================================ Subject: What if your words could be judged like a crime? From: "Sandy Carter" To: Date: Sat 16 Mar 2002 09:17:23 -0600 ================================================ You know, I'm in opposition to the censorship of this list, because I am of the opinion that with strong opinions come strong words. I think that if some on the list are offended by such things, they should probably reconsider being here. Music is born of passion. Music is a provocative subject, and Creed's lyrics are bound to mean something different to each of us, regardless of our intensity level. Because we all enjoy Creed's music and subscribe to this list doesn't mean that we are all of one mind and neither will we speak with like terms. If the words are not some you would use and you find offense, I believe that you as the individual should be mature enough to deal with it and not have to complain to the list mother to get everyone in trouble. I have personally enjoyed when the list gets heated, and no one sees me jumping in, but that's just me. I personally like to take it all in, think about it, and then if I have something to say, I will add a comment. If someone on this list can't take the heat, please by all means, leave the kitchen! Or if you chose to stay, just hit delete. Consider starting your own list where you can make up your own language rules, and best of luck to you. Complaining just makes you sound like a whiner, and doesn't reflect the sentiment of the entire group.
