"What if" is my favorite Creed songs, for reasons > that are personal to ME. One of the things that I find to be so incredible about Scot Stapp's lyrics (and I'll preface this next statement by tell you flat out I'm not about to elevate the lyrics to a rock-n-roll song to the level of Holy Scripture) is that the practical and personal application they seem to have is quite a bit like the universal nature and applicability of the Bible to a Christian. So many people relate so well to the music because of the humanity and the passion that go into them. There's no formula to the lyrics (although I can't rightly say the same about the music...). What Asaf is doing here is taking the lyrics and putting them in a box, which - as you point out - is not the way to look at them. For ME, what's happening on this list is covered in "What If".
