Yes, and as you recall, I was doing the same, and we both got cut down for it.
I guess this puts all of them in their place, since I (and through that, you and everyone else who said that the kid story was a cover) managed to provide sources backing our statements.
I guess this is where we start getting e-mails saying that the drummer was full of shit, right?

I've been calling bullshit since the moment they cancelled.

I as of now officially call bullshit on their reasons for cancelling the tour down under with Creed.  Why can people ever not just be outright honest when they give a statement?  And to all those that were adamant that some of us were wrong for saying they would never cancel a tour because a little boy died... why is there not even mention of him in the article?
And Chastity... I hope this answers your question.  From now on instead of wasting that ever-so-precious trying to insult others on the list with your higher-than-thou fucked up attitude, try spending the time looking up your answer online?  This took me a whole 30 seconds to find... oddly enough, it was the first article that came up on the search.

Last week, with little warning, Sevendust canceled their seven Down Under dates with Creed, fueling rumors among radio DJs and fans.

But now Sevendust drummer Morgan Rose has set the record straight: "Sadly, [guitarist] John Connolly's grandmother passed away last week, and he needed to be there. On a happier note, [guitarist] Clint [Lowery] just married his longtime girlfriend and needs time with her.

"We're no strangers to personal compromise in meeting tour obligations," Rose continued, "but right now was not the time. We apologize to our Australian fans who have been waiting to see us for years. We promise we will get there soon and give you the best concerts you've ever seen. As for touring with our brothers in Creed, we'll be doing that all over the U.S. in the summer."

For the tour down under, Creed have replaced Sevendust with grungey Australian band Crash Palace. Dates begin Tuesday in Brisbane, Australia, and run through March 23 in Auckland, New Zealand. Switching opening acts is nothing new for Creed — in January the band replaced openers Puddle of Mudd with Tantric (see
"Creed Pick Tantric, Not Puddle Of Mudd, To Join Tour").

Sevendust have scheduled three Florida shows for next month — April 26 in Miami, April 27 in Zephyr Hills and April 28 in Orlando.
