At first, I could not believe that Scott was singing "GD" in 'What's This Life For', especially since it is not written in the lyrics.  I just knew it had to be something else, but I couldn't hear anything else it could possibly be.  After I read an interview article where Scott explained WHY he put that in there, then I was better able to accept it.

A few days ago, someone brought up the subject of misunderstanding
some of the lyrics.
I just wanted to share two misunderstood lines:
("Stand Here With Me")
"So now you little whore in a world that is so long, you're a memory."
(I knew it couldn't be that, but I had to look it up. Oops. Not even
close.)
("What's This Life For?")
"What's This Light For?
(That one was my husband's goof. I could not listen to that song
for weeks without getting the giggles, after I heard him singing
that along with the CD.)
