Lars was totally right when he went on his crusade against Napster, but that being said I also think he went over the heads of a lot of artists who either have no problem with file sharing or maintain the attitude, "hey, it's about the art, not the money and the ART is getting out there."  Of course when you've invested the years he has in ANY enterprise it's your CAREER and I can understand Lars (and other artists) not wanting his nest egg getting fried.

But that's irrelevant," he continued. "Who gives a sh** whether it's art or whether it's a commodity. It's still stealing when you're not paying for something, just like if it was a grocery store, just like if it was money laundered from bank accounts. But we're trying to stay protective about it.
