Laura Dawn will be doing a FREE SHOW at Peabody's DownUnder THIS WEDNESDAY. She is the opening act to The Calling. The Calling was to perform that day, but had to postpone due to a video shoot in New Zealand. She is still going to be in town though. She is semi-punky rocker with a pop side too. Half of her songs are "rock" and half are classic melodic pop. Her songwriting is very much in singer-songwriter form. But, that is what she is for pete's sake. I personally am a big fan of hers. I think she is great and she is great to her fans. She is on her message board DAILY. The Tony Lang Band will be an opener with Laura and her band doing a 45-50 minute set. It will be a great show and it is FREE!
