One of the guys I work with who is also a Creed fan let his sister, a junior at Boston University, borrow a copy of Weathered. She gave it back a week later and said that she liked it but wanted to know what Scott Stapp's problem is with MBAs (she intends to go for her MBA when she wraps up her Bachelors'). Of course my friend wondered what in the world she was talking about. "He talks about being beaten down by MBAs in one of those songs." And now for the punchline: The misheard lyric was "The mouths of envious always find another door, while at the gates of paradise they beat us down some more."
