I am one of the few "Christian" types I know who liked 'Dogma.' I think it was Kevin Smith's most honest film and it spoke volumes about the state of religion in America (and a sorry state it is!). There were parts that I totally agreed with as well as a few parts I found to be patently offensive, but as a whole I thought that it was a very good movie. That being said, the angels in Dogma were the first thing I thought of when I saw the Bullets video. I still don't know exactly why. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Debbi" To: Sent: Monday, March 04, 2002 6:56 PM Subject: Re: what is creed? Please. Dogma was more religious. Man, what a kick ass movie that is. -----Original Message----- From: Creed Discussion List [mailto:CREED-DISCUSS@WINDUPLIST.COM] On Behalf Of Joe Earles Sent: Monday, March 04, 2002 3:54 PM To: CREED-DISCUSS@WINDUPLIST.COM Subject: Re: what is creed? What religion did you see evident in the Bullets video? The Big Bug religion? The Wing-ed Scary Stapp Guy religion? The Final Fantasy Part PI(Rē) Religion? Or was it that the guys in the band were made to look like warring angels except that Wing-ed Scary Stapp Guy was the only one who'd earned his wings? "Look, Mommy! Teacher says every time a bell crashes to the ground, the video that follows will really suck!" ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim" To: Sent: Monday, March 04, 2002 6:35 PM Subject: Re: what is creed? > >hey jim, step away from scott's keyboard. > > I swear it wasn't me! > > Anyway,I often wonder about the Christian band or the devil in > disguise, myself. > > Since the definition for Creed was already posted.
