There is nothing above love. Yes, MARRIAGE is about commitment. But you don't make a commitment to someone you don't love, because you can't keep that commitment without motivation. Marriage is Hell, and you can't make it through the problems in marriage without love. Love comes before commitment, which leads to marriage, which nurtures love. Love is first and last. And it's ideas like the one you explained below that are brainwashing young people into thinking that love and marriage are disposable. Which is why marriages don't last these days. I'm sorry, but I can't keep my mouth shut on this one. Jen In a message dated 12/17/2001 11:19:34 PM Central Standard Time, annapatricks@HOTMAIL.COM writes: << I have values thank you very much. Nikki, the state of marriage has been in danger for many centuries. If you want to blame something, blame the fact that people have the screw-balled idea that you must be 'in love' to marry when marriage is more about commitment & less about love in the end... you get love as the bonus, it's not the main event.... you people amuse me... >> To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
