The fact of life is that ticketmaster controls the entire live entertainment/spectator industry and it's out. Of. Control. And nobody is interested in doing a thing about it. -----Original Message----- From: Lvablemm@cs.com [mailto:Lvablemm@cs.com] Sent: Friday, December 14, 2001 10:46 PM To: creedlvr@lafornara.com; CREED-DISCUSS@winduplist.com Subject: Re: Lakeland :( I think it's just one of those facts of life you have to deal with. Baby formula costs are too high, as are gas prices, and healthcare costs. Those things are necessities though, for most people. Tickets to a concert are a luxury and a privilege. Really though, if you had to pay 50.00 to see Creed, and there were no ticketmaster charges, would you be more willing to do it than you are paying 42.50 plus charges and knowing money's going to Ticketmaster? The bottom line is the same. I don't really care either way. It's all divided up so many ways, it's not like Creed's getting the entire 42.50. I mean, they kind of have to pay somebody to sell the tickets, right? Jen To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
