Creed: "We're Praying For Harrison's Family"
04 Dec 2001 Creed, the Christian rockers, are praying for the family of former Beatle George Harrison, who died at his home in Los Angeles this past Friday.

"Our hearts and thoughts and prayers are with his family at this moment," said Creed frontman Scott Stapp. "I don't think anyone's ever said a bad thing about him - and if people are talking about you good when you're not around, then you probably are a really good person."

"He always had his feet firmly planted on the ground and that's a legacy that's stronger in my opinion than any," he continued. "That's something that I think the three of us would try to pattern ourselves. As much as we kid around and joke, but every relationship we make and every person we meet, it's that way- we want to walk knowing it was a good experience and a positive experience and that's something that a man like George Harrison taught young bands who didn't really get into his band, but him as a person."
