================================================ Subject: Re: More Creed concert news From: "]\\[][G}{T§TÖ®]v[" To: Date: Wed 12 Dec 2001 01:05:50 -0500 ================================================ I wasn't originally going to let this comment even get a response out of me, but since Debbi brought it back to the top, what the hell. Actually, as I recall, until recently Scott didn't even know that this list existed. So I doubt if the band is aware of any fighting that takes place here. And as for the comment regarding the Wind-Up staff not wanting to participate... don't you think that managing bands like Creed, Drowning Pool, Boy Hits Car, American Pearl (and the list goes on) doesn't take up enough time? Why SHOULD the entire management company have to participate in a discussion list? Jim, you're thinking back to a list 4 years ago when Wind-Up didn't yet HAVE a hit band. A couple of the staff cruised onto the list every once in a while to say hi and check in on things. Now they just don't have the time to read through 500 mails regarding the same things that were discussed 2 months ago. Use common sense. And as for Kat who talks like she knows what's going on... take the same advise I just offered Jim. Unless you know the band personally, and have sat down and chatted with the management on a daily basis, I suggest you not state opinion as fact. If it's opinion, say so... if it's fact, back it up. But that's 2 for 2, so I won't be expecting any change anytime soon. And, to use an example... American Pearl has NO (that's ZERO, none, zip, zilch, nada) fights. And how much of their management participates in discussions? 1. That's a single number. ONE person. Are you with me here? You have Roman posting from Wind-up, and you have... can you guess? NO ONE ELSE FROM THE MANAGEMENT. And does the band post? Last post from a band member was from Reg, and that was over a month and a half ago. Band post before then? You'd be going back an easy 5 months. Has Creed ever posted here? Apparently, Scott posted once a while back saying thanks to everyone for the support. So it's not like he follows the events here, nor does he avoid the list. If he doesn't follow, then how the hell does he know what the list is like? The atmosphere of a forum has nothing to do with whether a band or management posts there. Rumor has it that when a band is putting out CD's and touring and having interviews and guest appearances and such to please their fans, they tend to not have much free time for things like discussion lists. Oh, and to close... what's the atmosphere on the BB, anyway? Must be a haven when compared to the discussion list, as the atmosphere here is why everyone avoids the list. Thanks for the insider, Jim. ¤]\[][G}{T§TÖ®]v[¤ | -----Original Message----- | From: Creed Discussion List [mailto:CREED-DISCUSS@WINDUPLIST.COM] On | Behalf Of Creed - 7M3 - Live | Sent: Tuesday, December 11, 2001 8:07 PM | To: CREED-DISCUSS@WINDUPLIST.COM | Subject: Re: More Creed concert news | | | I would like to see some of Wind-up's employees being able to enjoy the | list.
