Absolutely not, but if there had been a running game to compliment Dan's arm, then the game becomes CLOCK CONTROL, and the lack of a SUPERB defense (such as the one we have now) becomes much less a factor. That's the one beef I had with Don "Perfect Season" Shula. He was SO intent on riding Dan's arm that he completely gave up on the run.

Yes, Danny certainly could have used a running game, but are you forgetting the years when the offense had to score 40+ points just to win the game because the defense allowed so many points?
