Okay, Nikki, despite the fact that I LOVE to bash your posts, I can actually offer some helpful advice here.  I HAVE upgraded from WinME to Win98 (I REFUSE to think of it as a downgrade, because it ISN'T a downgrade), and unless you're prepared to do a clean install, you're looking at a formidable task.  Actually, that's not totally true.  If you have more than just a working knowledge of your machine, it's not all that hard, but because Win98 is the older version, it won't AUTORUN to do an install on a WinME machine.  And you may well find that you lose a large part of your drivers after the switch as well.  I eventually put WinME back on my machine and suffered through it until XP became available.  Let me know if I can help.

Thanks Keith for that info..I kind of thought that i might lose some of my drivers, but I wanted to get some other opinions.  I think for now I will just leave things as they are. Thanks Scott and Jim for your advice too.
