Hey Delirium, don't worry, it wasn't long at all!
Anyway, I would agree on this progression thing, because you can tell the sound is bit different now, better. Maybe we shouldn't compare their cds at all...I don't know... "MOP" was darker, they had almost all of their lives to write it, lol. And this cd...I mean, let's face it, this band is HUGE now (at least in the States), they have sold millions of copies, they recorded very good albums, have great fans (of course, lol), from what we can see they seem to be quite happy with their personal lives. I mean who would write depressing stuff at that point, lol...

And welcome to the list!
Agie

Hi Jim,
The first Creed CD that I got was HC and then MOP.  After listening to both I noticed a progression.  MOP is an ASSUME 1st album but has the feel that the band was still learning to find their sound and how the studio works.  HC was another step forward for the band on their sound and it feels like they were having a good time with the plus' that a studio offers ( more instruments and richer sound).  Weathered is two giant steps forward.  The band sounds as if they were truly comfortable in the bands skin while in the studio (I have never seen them on tour) and they expanded the Creed sound to include other aspects of the band (playstation vs. playstation 2). I wanted to be blown away and given something to think about personally, and I got it (YES).

Sorry if this is long but I am still writing like this is an English paper.  Truly.
Delirium
