I wish MY relationship with my mom was better...but it drives me nuts how
conservative and protective she is. It really puts a strain on how well
we get along. She doesn't get as into stuff as I do. My friend's mom is
practically as big a fan as 'N Sync and BSB as SHE is, and goes with her
to concerts, and absolutely LOVES them. My mom "vaguely remembers" WAWO
and Higher, which were quite possibly the most played-out songs on the
radio last year. I'm gonna have to make her take my Creed CD's to work
with her so she'll know some of their other stuff. Then when the actual
concert rolls around, pray that she won't make me leave once we get there
because of how other people may look. Yesterday she came home the store
with this plaid skirt and sweater set for me, and said I could wear it to
the concert...and I thought she meant the Creed concert, only she meant
my winter band concert...but how was I supposed to know? She could have
said that the first time...she really scared me there! LoL

I know for sure when I get older, I'm going to be a teacher, so I'll have
a lot of days off and the summers off. So if I have kids, when they get
older, I'm DEFINITELY following my favorite bands on the road during the
summer, if they have a summer tour...it would be SO much fun! LoL
