I don't know what happens in YOUR lame town, V, but where I see shows, everyone stands.. they just happen to have a chair behind (or below) them.  I do remember being on the floor at Boston garden some years back for bob seager and people were standing on the backs of their chairs and after the show, when the house lights came on, the entire first 3 sections had metal chairs with the backs bent backwards and down.  I was pretty amused.

At least you have the OPTION of GA tickets! I'm going with my mom, who
unfortunately has back problems...so she'll probably INSIST on getting
seated tickets! But I dunno, maybe the Cleveland show won't have GA, so
who knows...

Well I AM the mom, and I always insist on GA floor, so we can be front and center on the rail....that's the concert atmosphere I go for...I'm not going to sit in a seat!  Who can SIT during a rock concert?
