To borrow from a post I made several days back: It's a place where you talk about Creed. *smirk* It's another discussion list where you're free to state your opinions and not have to worry about a person quoting rules that they only listen to when it's in their favor, but break any other time. It's a place where a train of thought is necessary to join, and a sense of humor is mandatory to stay. You need to be able to recognize sarcasm, and not whine and cry every time someone shares an opinion that doesn't match yours. All in all, it's a great place to relax and unwind and read through the 500+ mails per day that it generates (mostly late night chats). Basically, if you don't agree with a person, and thing they're not thinking through their posts, you're allowed to say "you know what? I think you're a moron" and no one will run crying from it... they'll stand up for their thoughts and explain WHY they think that, or why they don't think it. And, in most cases, if you should actually tell someone that they're not thinking, they'll take the time to actually hear you out, instead of sniveling about it. From what's I've seen, it's a place where you need to actually have a level of maturity if you hope to last. There is no "bashing". Only sharing of thoughts and opinions, and each one of them needs to be backup up. And any person that gets "bashed" there is free to join at any time and defend themselves... but one of the reasons those people get bashed (as you call it) is because they are incapable of self-defense, and in every case so far, have done something to deserve what is said about them. It's a chance there to speak freely of what's on your mind and have no worries of repercussions. Like it says above... it's a great place to relax and unwind. And the rules that Keith makes reference to are simply a disclaimer stating that when you join, you promise to not do anything moronic like post private info to a public forum, and that you understand that Creedtalk will get into some heated debates, and you can't take offense by what is said. More or less, the only rule there is that you need to actually use your brain... not exactly an easy one for most of us to break. ¤]\[][G}{T§TÖ®]v[¤ To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
