They also performed here at the Low Dogh Show for a $1. Unfortunately I didn't get to go but a friend of mine did.  Still to this day she will rub it in every chance she gets :)

Yep, Scott!

We had CREED here for $1.06 at Guitars and Cadillacs almost the same week as
the single "My Own Prison" debuted out on the radio stations here (who's
frequency is 106.3, hence the $1.06 ticket price.. hokey yes!).

I remember how pissed I was that I didn't get to go because I had a night
class for History at that time (it was on a Monday night IIRC) and we had a
mid-term that night. Grrrrr. I ALMOST skipped it, and now I wish I did
because my final grade was a C anyway. Damn college!

This would be the downside to Creed's popularity now, Jim. When they were
starting out, you could catch a Creed show for $1 (I believe a couple here
on the list did that), but now that they're a big-time band making millions
and selling CD's into the multi-millions, they can charge apparently
outrageous prices, and people will pay them...
