In other words, I can talk to my friends who have AOL, with my Compuserve instant messager. Which is, obviously, because they're really the same company now or whatever. I really like Compuserve though, and I never liked AOL when I lived with my parents and they had it. I don't know exactly what the difference is, though. Nah... don't feel like ruining my system with something like that, and I'm pretty sure that you'll get a lot of other interesting replies to this request... so keep smiling, and remember to keep a sense of humor handy. For those wanting AOL IM, but not wanting to put trash on their computer, there's a program called Trillian that lets you combine AOL, MSN, ICQ, IRC, and Yahoo all into a single interface. Works well, too. Much better than AOL junk... just lets you bounce off their servers instead. Oh, and you can also access AOL e-mail servers via Outlook Express, so given a short time, AOL users can stay with AOL but not even need that extra junk on their computers anymore. And as for the "list clutter", good luck. The list has had several chat rooms come and go, and the clutter continues. Of course, only 2 of those rooms have ever been on a server that everyone can access, but even those never got much hits (http://www.geocities.com/npicrash/creedchat.html and http://www.debbir.com/chat/index.htm). Should anyone decide to go in either room, be sure to mail the list first so that you won't be sitting there all alone. >> To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
