I am sorry about your parents. Hearing about stuff likes that makes me
feeel blessed to have happily married parents, however loony they can be
at times. Though my mom has to have surgery for an aneurism (spelling?)
between her aorta and spleen sometime before Christmas, and will be in
the hospital for 3 or 4 days. But I'm not too worried because while the
doctor DID say the problem she has isn't very common, once the surgery is
complete it isn't life threatening. What worries me is that he said that
people who left their problem (that my mom has) untreated have DIED from
it before. So hopefully she'll get in the operating room before that
point. I'll be praying for her, believe me!

:o(

As for the vegetarianism. I've been considering becoming one these days.
It's harder and harder for me to eat meat these days anyway b/c I don't
always know where the meat came from anyways. And I've NEVER eaten turkey
on Thanksgiving. Usually just bread, mashed potatoes, salad, lasagna,
pumpkin pie, and cranberry sauce. The only meat I really eat are
hamburgers, and at that only the ones my mom makes cuz I know where she
buys the meat. Any other meat she cooks (chicken, sausage, pork chops,
etc.) just don't appeal to me. Except chicken cutlets, which are my
favorite food. She only makes those on my birthday as a special treat,
though. Besides that I'll eat lunchmeat ONLY from Jim Alesci's Place
(this little Italian store), and sandwiches from Panera Bread. Otherwise
I'm mostly veggie. So I might as well just cut out meat entirely, yanno?
LoL
