Well, Scott, that would be a good point, but considering my own personal struggles with addiction, I'm NOT upset about the delay.  I'm not HAPPY about it, but I would much rather James take all the time he needs to get himself healthy than see him collapse on stage at some point, or wake up and hear how he choked to death on his own vomit.

However, I HAVE been told I'm not a true fan because of my OPEN SUPPORT for their lawsuit against Napster!  Does that get me in here? ;-)

He was trying to do an almost-whisper performance of the song... and high notes and whispers just don't seem to work well with him.  You could see the look on his face as he missed the note though... then he sorta just shrugged it off and continued like nothing happened.
But he STILL missed the note... during my most favorite song by them... and I was disappointed by it.  So I am now by definition no longer a U2 fan.
Oh, should we bring this in too, so that Keith can play along?  Keith... were you at all disappointed that the new CD and stuff by Metallica had to be put off because of the rehab-deal?  Cause you know... if it upset you at all, you're not a real fan.  May as well add anything you have of theirs to the fire... gets damn cold here in Michigan anyway... could use the extra heat.  {=oÞ
