Creed enjoys spoils Creed's Scott Stapp says the group was able to use the benefits from selling 10 million copies of 1999's sophomore effort "Human Clay" to do its new effort, "Weathered." "We didn't really change anything; we just did everything the same way we did on the first two albums," says the frontman. "I think the success of the first two gave us an opportunity, financially, to spend more money on this record and make it better. There are symphonies and choruses on the record, he says. There are different guitars played, different drum kits and drumheads to give a different tonality to each song. "I experimented with different microphones. The success afforded us more resources and to experiment a little more with concepts in our heads, which we financially couldn't do on the first two [albums]." Creed will launch a tour to promote "Weathered" in mid-January. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.winduplist.com/ls/discuss/form.asp
