I think that a song is about what you want it to be.  Some may see part of
their own life story or current situation in a song others may interpret it
differently.  To me My Sacrifice is about realising that to have that
perfect relationship (with whom ever) you have to give something of
yourself up to the relationship.  To you My Sacrifice could mean something
completely different.  And I'm sure that it means something completely
different to the band members.

Not saying that it isn't good to see what other people understand by a
song.  I think Jen's analysis is really cool - the song obviously means
something to her.  It means something to me, just different.
