It'll be interesting to see how well this new bassist will fit in with them.  Nobody will replace Brian, but I grew to like Brett.  He was very entertaining to watch on the stage and I'm glad that he'll be doing the start of the tour so I'll get to see him and won't have to endure yet another new bassist for Creed..touring or otherwise.  And to revoice what I heard on another list..WTF is up with yet ANOTHER Scott in the band!!  Ugh!  Call this guy by his other given name..lol

He's doing the producing on 4 Years Past's cd, that will hopefully be out soon.  And for those of you not familiar with that band name, that's the name of the band that Scotty P's brother is in, and they are pretty good.  I caught them last year when everyone was here in Orlando for the last Creed concert.  They were very entertaining, especially James, the lead singer.  What a character!!!

doesn't like him, a lot of folks who've been around from the beginning
dont...but i really like brett, i like his band, virgos, and i have to give
the guy a lot of credit for filling in like this...his band was supposed to
be going on tour, looks like that'll be on hold for a while...

Brett is only doing some of the tour with Creed.  He would not commit to the entire tour because Virgos has a new album coming out in Feb/Mar 2002 and he's a new daddy too.  He's also producing a few album for some other bands.  Creed has hired another tour bassist (who I understand is named Scott too) and I believe he will be playing with them on Thanksgiving.
