My husband Jeroen is from Holland, Noord Brabant to be exact.. just a few miles from the Belgium border. He just moved here in March of this year. I just wanted to say it's great to see more folks from Europe on the list. Hubby and I were supposed to see CREED at 013 in Tilburg December 15, 1999. But unfortunately Scott's throat was sick and none of the European dates happened.. Well, maybe next year.. we're shooting for being in the Netherlands sometime in May.. Write privately if you want.. where in NL are you living? ~Kristin "We may rise and fall, But in the end, We'll meet our fate together.." -----Original Message----- From: Daan Pranger daanpranger@HETNET.NL Sent: Sun, 18 Nov 2001 22:58:06 +0100 To: CREED-DISCUSS@WINDUPLIST.COM Subject: Hi there, I'm just new, european, AND already have the weathered album! Hi, I'm Daan Pranger (but you can call me Daniel), and I'm from holland. Creed is not as popular here as it is in the US, so I was a little lucky to get the My Own Prison album. I got that one as a birthday present from my brother. I think it was my, ehm, 13th or 14th birthday (I'm 16 now) and I liked what I heard. so after a while I purchased Human Clay, which was a great album too (in my opinion MOP was better, but that's ok). Anyway, because I am a 'fan' now, I was really looking forward to the new album, and I heard it was to be released about 20-11 or 11/20. But I accidentally saw the album in the music-store last friday, and I immediately bought it, of course. So, I guess that makes me the first person in the world to have it! so, what's it like? you'll probably be asking right now. Wel, it's great. it's pretty 'dark' and 'heavy' (especially the first songs), but I like that. What I found remarkable, is that mr Stapp's vocals are pretty much different from the first 2 albums. He sings less predictable (you'll probably know what I mean when you (finally:) hear the album). anyway, thanx for reading this, and greetz from europe. ___________________________________________________________________________ Visit http://www.visto.com.
