Hi Dan,

Welcome to the discussion list.  I'm from the US....Michigan specifically...and I've heard all of the album already...as have quite a few of us.

Several stores here in the states put their stock out early...so we're lucky too.

AOL did a full album preview a couple days ago.

MTV2 has been running the full album preview several times over the course of the last two days as well.

I agree, some of the songs are heavier, definitely heavier than HC, but not necessarily heavier than many on MOP.  As the band said, the harder stuff is harder, the softer stuff is softer, as I believe the case would be with the song Lullaby.

Personally, for the sheer beauty of the songs...I like One Last Breath and Who's Got My Back.  But for good old fashion ROCK, I like Stand Here With Me, Signs, and Bullets!  Overall, it's a good solid album.

Hi,

I'm Daan Pranger (but you can call me Daniel), and I'm from holland.
Creed is not as popular here as it is in the US, so I was a little lucky to get the My Own Prison album. I got that one as a birthday present from my brother.
I think it was my, ehm, 13th or 14th birthday (I'm 16 now) and I liked what I heard.
so after a while I purchased Human Clay, which was a great album too (in my opinion MOP was better, but that's ok).
Anyway, because I  am a 'fan'  now, I was really looking forward to the new album, and I heard it was to be released about 20-11 or 11/20.
But I accidentally saw the album in the music-store last friday, and I immediately bought it, of course.
So, I guess that makes me the first person in the world to have it!
so, what's it like? you'll probably be asking right now. Wel, it's great.
it's pretty 'dark' and 'heavy' (especially the first songs), but I like that. What I found remarkable, is that mr Stapp's vocals are pretty much different from the first 2 albums. He sings less predictable (you'll probably know what I mean when you (finally:) hear the album).

anyway, thanx for reading this, and greetz from europe
