Marriage is a custom that is based in the religious domain. Though it has since been replaced by a legal bond between lawyers and those that used to be married. How else are lawyers going to make a decent living. If it wasn't for the legal aspect of marrige. If marriage was religiously based again. the person would just have to say. "God, send me to hell!!" "It cannot be as bad as being married" - Then they would have to face the wrath of God. Or the ex-wife. But with lawyers! It is a whole different situation. BTW - I am not a Christian. But have heard that marriage is a vow between those being married and God. I don't have facts available. But you can do a search. ... No more research!!!!!
