I know he sings that.  It's really monotone and all the live bootlegs and other live performances I've heard/seen are much him with a more *ahem* raw? voice than the recording.  For a reason no doubt. But whatever floats yer boat!  Admittedly, I'm really spoiled by my other favorite bands that have absolute kick ass backing vocals.

Oh no, Mark can sing! Maybe not so good like Stapp, but I agree with V, I would love to see him singing some chorus. He sings in "MOP" this part "so I held my head up high..." <---in case someone doesn't know :)
 
I don't care about Brett much, I heard few songs by his band, but didn't impress me that much:)
